Fit
The Air Pegasus 28 is all about keeping it light. The mesh panels keep air flowing, while soft, flexible microfibre overlays keep the foot locked in place. Along the midfoot, super strong nylon bundles, called Flywire, hug the foot for support without the bulk.
Cushioning
Smooth from start to finish, the Air Pegasus uses a unique blend of cushioning to ensure a comfortable, stable ride. The Nike Zoom unit in the heel creates a thin air pocket that delivers a plush feel, and Cushlon foam throughout the midsole provides a soft, yet responsive platform. Specifically designed for the male foot, the Air Pegasus features a crash pad in the heel that helps absorb the initial shock of impact, making the transition from heel to midfoot exceptionally fluid.
Traction
Designed for comfort, the Air Pegasus features deep flex grooves along the length and width of the outsole that allow it to bend with the natural motion of the foot. The Waffle pattern at the eco-preferred outsole not only provides great traction, it also adds extra cushioning.
